☕️Today the Woodfield PTA treated our teachers and staff to coffee from @frdmcafe in celebration on teacher appreciation week.

😘Thank you to all the parent volunteers who served as coffee runners this morning to make sure our amazing teachers and staff stayed fueled up!

📌Every time I spend a morning at Woodfield, I am reminded of how patient, kind and funny our teachers and staff are - I am truly in awe. Our gesture today was just a simple thank you for all you do. You are seen and you are appreciated!

Today’s spread featured delicious sandwiches 🥪, crisp salads 🥗, and chips 🥔 from @panerabread —because our teachers deserve nothing but the best!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing parents who sweetened the day with their generous (and seriously scrumptious) dessert donations 🍪🧁🍰. You truly outdid yourselves!

We were SO excited to welcome @brownpeoplecamping Ambreen Tariq—author of Fatima’s Great Outdoors—for a special visit! She spoke to all our Eagles about camping, storytelling, and the magic of the outdoors ⛺🌲

Our students were full of questions and curiosity—they truly brought the campfire spirit into the classroom!

Plus, our Read-A-Thon winners (top 2 readers in each class) got to celebrate with Ambreen over some well-earned popsicles! 🍦📚

Huge thanks to Ambreen for spending the day with us—you inspired us all to explore, imagine, and tell our stories!

We are super excited for the Snowball Dance & Sile

We are super excited for the Snowball Dance & Silent Auction this year on Friday March 21st at 6:30pm in the Woodfield Gym and All Purpose Room.

We'll have a dance, kids raffle and also a silent auction geared towards adults and families. The silent auction will include sports memorabilia, family themed experiences, and much much more. Cash and cards will be accepted. Winners will be announced at 8pm in the gym.

A lot goes into these events and to help make the Snowball a success, we are asking for donations and volunteers.

If you have an item you'd like to donate or are willing to assemble a basket for the kids raffle or silent auction, please review the available slots here- https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040D44AEAF2AABF49-55448695-snowball and click on the button to sign up. All donations and baskets are needed by Tuesday March 18 and can be dropped off at school or we can happily arrange a pick up.

We flew planes, sunk boats, and built towers… (IYKYK! 😂🛩️🚢🏗️)

A MASSIVE shoutout to ALL of our incredible student scientists who brought creativity, curiosity, and pure STEM excitement to the WES gymnasium! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

To our Science Fair Committee: YOU ARE THE REAL MVPS! 🏆 Months of planning, creating scoring rubrics, designing challenge stations, and crafting those awesome 3D awards - we see your hard work and APPRECIATE YOU!

That said, our PTA meeting is officially canceled because let’s be real: y’all deserve a break (and maybe a warm cup of cocoa 🍫☕).
